On June 25th, SRA Ministries celebrated the certification ceremony for Verano al CIEN! / Summer Blast 2024, with 55 participants, including families, enjoying English conversational classes and Dallas field trips. This program offered beginner, intermediate, and citizenship preparation courses. Participant Guadalupe Farfán praised the program, saying, "This summer was really a blast of an experience for me." On June 25th, SRA Ministries celebrated the certification ceremony for Verano al CIEN! / Summer Blast 2024. This summer program saw about 55 enthusiastic participants, including three families with their children. Everyone had an amazing experience, engaging in English conversational classes and participating in field trips around Dallas to explore and enjoy the city's offerings.
This summer, we offered three different programs: Level 1 Conversational English for beginners, Level 2 Intermediate Conversational English, and Conversational Practices for those preparing for the citizenship test. Each program provided valuable learning experiences, helping participants improve their English skills and gain confidence in their communication abilities.
Guadalupe Farfán, one of our participants, shared her excitement, saying, "This summer was really a blast of an experience for me. I am sure my fellow friends feel the same as well. I want to thank SRA Ministries and the teachers for their time during this four weeks of summer program."
As we wrap up this successful summer session, we are looking forward to the upcoming school year. Online classes will begin on September the 9th, and in-person classes will start on September 10th. Levels 1, 2, and Citizenship classes will be held at Jubilee Community Center, 917 Bank St., on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 PM. Levels 3 and 4, which are advanced levels conducted entirely in English, will take place at our new facilities at 6060 N. Central Expressway in Dallas.
