SRA Ministries Celebrates Graduation Ceremony for English Language Program Participants

On the 28th of May 2023, SRA Ministries held its annual graduation ceremony at Paris Beauty, honoring participants of the "Communicate" English Language Program. The event celebrated the culmination of a year of hard work and dedication, as students from both online and in-person classes gathered to receive their well-earned graduation certificates for the 2022-2023 academic year. With friends and families in attendance, the ceremony was filled with warmth and joy. The stage was adorned by students who walked across it, met with resounding cheers and applause, showcasing their unwavering determination and commitment to enhancing their English language abilities.

Dallas, TX - Paris Beauty was filled with joy and excitement on the 28th of May 2023 as SRA Ministries hosted its annual graduation ceremony for participants of the "Communicate" English Language Program. The event marked the culmination of a year of hard work and dedication for the students, who gathered both online and in person to receive their well-deserved graduation certificates for the academic year 2022-2023.

The ceremony was heartwarming, with friends and families of the graduates joining in the celebration. As each student walked across the stage to receive their certificates, cheers and applause echoed throughout the venue, creating a truly memorable atmosphere. The event was a testament to the students' perseverance and commitment to improving their English language skills.

The English Language Program offered by SRA Ministries included six groups, covering the Basic and Beginning Intermediate levels. 56 students actively participated in the program, demonstrating their eagerness to enhance their communication abilities.

One of the participants, Alex Kanales, a Beginner Intermediate Level Online student, expressed his delight at witnessing his friend's accomplishments. "I am so glad to be here today and see many of my friends coming to receive their graduation certificates as well! It is an effort well done," he shared. Being part of the first group of students from the previous year's program, Alex expressed his gratitude for the opportunities to learn and connect with new people. He highly recommended the program to others, emphasizing its value to personal growth.

The graduation ceremony also featured Mrs. Priscilla Rice as the guest speaker. Mrs. Rice, currently a Commissioner for the Office of Arts and Culture of the City of Dallas, shared her journey of overcoming challenges as a migrant girl and learning to communicate effectively in English. She engaged the audience with conversations in both English and Spanish, inspiring the graduates with her own experiences. Mrs. Rice congratulated the students on reaching this significant milestone in their lives and careers, motivating them to continue striving for success.

As summer approaches, SRA Ministries is preparing to launch its "Summer Blast" or "Verano al CIEN" program. This five-week initiative aims to provide participants with more intensive training in phonics, word construction, conversations, and cultural awareness. Students will gather at the Continental Gin Building in Deep Ellum Dallas from Monday through Wednesday, with sessions from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Additionally, on select Thursdays, the students will explore popular sites around the city, combining sightseeing with conversational lessons and cultural immersion.
